AKEPOX® 1162 is a very fluid, 2-component epoxy resin system with a modified amine hardener which is used for firmly closing fissures and pores. The product is characterized by the following properties:

AKEPOX® 1162 is mainly used in the stone processing industry for surface finishing and strengthening of porous and fissured natural stone, concrete and concrete ashlar as well as for reinforcing the back of fragile natural stone slabs in combination with glass fabric. The hardened product tends to yellow only slightly if exposed to ultraviolet light or to warmth.
